What is Shopify protection?
Shopify Protect is a fraud protection service offered by Shopify, a popular e-commerce platform. It uses machine learning and data analysis to identify and prevent fraudulent orders from being placed on a Shopify store. When an order is placed in a store using Shopify Protect, it is automatically checked for signs of fraud. If the order is deemed suspicious, it is flagged for review by the store owner, who can decide whether to accept or cancel the order. Shopify Protect is designed to help store owners protect their businesses from fraudulent activity and reduce the risk of chargebacks and lost revenue.
